System Requirements

Email/Firewall Configuration

  • SPAM/Junk Filters - must be configured to allow mail from riskcentral.com.au and all sub-domains.
  • Training Managers - require Internet Explorer to be configured to allow JavaScript and Active Content

Computer

  • Pentium III 800 Mhz or faster
  • 1 gigabyte or more of RAM
  • 100MB of hard disk space
  • 1024 * 768, 32-bit video display adapter with 64MB of RAM or more
  • Sound Card

Connection

  • Internet connection with downstream speed of 256 kilobits/second (equivalent to 32 kilobytes/second)

Help - Trouble Shooting

Notification emails are not being recieved.

  • Check your junk mail folders and spam folders for the emails. You Junk and spam filters may need to be advised that emails from riskcentral.com.au and all subdomains are legitimate
  • Check that the trainees email address and other details have been entered correctly into the system

Can't login at companyname.riskcentral.com.au

  • Check you have entered companyname.riskcentral.com.au correctly
  • Try using another computer
  • Check that you are entering the correct username and password
  • Check that you have Flash Player version 9 or above
  • Check that the trainees email address and other details have been entered correctly into the system

Trainees received unexpected reminder emails or system shows they have not completed training.

  • Check the trainees details and training status in the Manager Control Center, by logging in as a training manager.
  • Check for other trainees registered with the same email address. The trainee may have incorrectly used another trainees username and password.
  • Where trainees are registered with the same email address, trainees may be operning other trainee's email notifications

After logging in you are not able to view training

  • Try using another computer
  • Check that you have Flash Player version 9 or above
  • If you have a firewall or web filtering software (eg WebMarshal) ensure that no traffic is filtered or blocked from riskcentral.com.au or any subdomains. In particular, streaming multimedia must be allowed from riskcentral.com.au and any subdomains.

Training is not recorded when you click "Complete Training"

  • Try using another computer
  • Check to ensure that JavaScript and Active Content is enabled
